Traffic Lights:

  • High Intensity signals
  • L.E.D.s

Traffic lights used to assist in the safe manoeuvring of vehicles in loading bays and for on site traffic control. Also used in conjunction with automated gates and barriers. A Red/ Green configuration is most common, but Red/Amber/Green and other combinations are available. Sizes range from 100mm diameter lenses up to 300mm diameter, with High Intensity Tungsten Halogen optics available for areas of poor visibility.
Some are available with LED optics which have the advantages of long life expectancy (100,000 hours), low power consumption and minimal maintenance.

  • Indoor Repeaters

Red and Green 100mm diameter lenses in an ABS wall mounted enclosure. Used to mimic the main operating lights for operator use, or as warning lights - for indoor use only.

  • Wig Wag Warning Lights

Flashing 2 or 3 aspect lights with backing boards used as warning lights. Featuring 200mm nominal diameter optics, with Tungsten Halogen high intensity lamps for optimum brightness.

  • Traffic Controllers

Manual or automatic, controlling one or more signals for management of traffic.

  • Traffic Detectors

Above and below ground traffic detectors for use in most applications. The range of above ground detectors covers microwave, infra-red, photocell or surface mounted loops which can be interfaced with automatic control systems. Below ground detection is achieved via a wire loop arrangement which is fixed on or below the road surface.

  • Beacon Globe Assemblies

Pole mounted flashing beacons, typically cited at pedestrian crossing points.
Supplied with a one piece orange globe, fitted to a pole top gallery complete with flasher unit. The large base steel support post with black and white bands is available with lockable base chamber for access to the mains input panel.

Applications :

Traffic Lights:
The particular model used is largely dependent on distance of user from the signal head and position of signal heads. Typical uses are loading bays, controlling site traffic and on overhead gantries. Also used with automatic gates and barriers. High intensity signals and LED's are available when signals are to be positioned in direct sunlight.

Indoor Repeaters:

To mimic lights on loading bay for operator use, or used inside a gatehouse.

Wig Wags:

Ideal for a range of applications where clear and early warnings are essential. Positioned at road/rail crossings, emergency service exit points, bridge / tunnel entrances.

Controllers:

May be manual or automatic, controlling one or more signal heads for traffic management purposes. It is ideally suited for office car parks, factory gatehouses, motor racing circuits, loading bays or any other manned application.
Larger automatic systems are produced in environmental housings for more complex unmanned situations

Detectors:

Above and below ground detectors are supplied for most applications - single track roads, crossroads control, car park entrances/exits.
Proximity detectors are available for detection of vehicles approaching a loading bay.

Beacon Globe Assemblies:

Typically sited at pedestrian crossing points.
